Reviews and Beyond…

So far, there have been several reviews and a lot of feedback on the game. Some people seem to really enjoy it whereas others find it less favorable. Regardless, it seems to have made some impact on the OELVN community so I’m happy.

Looking ahead to the future, I’m uncertain as to whether I should release a version 2.0 with extended game-play. There are some issues that may need addressing, such as number of words per screen. For now, I’m going to leave this as it is and work on some other endeavors.

Apologies but it appears some links are broken or not working. Currently, the following links are active:

I’m currently having a tester investigate the changes I’ve made. Hopefully they’ll find no issues and this will be it. The game will then be released an hour or so after if their response is positive. A year’s worth of hard work is finally going to pay off!!!

Following the advice of the testers, tweaks are being made to the game’s script along with some visual aspects of the game. Apart from that, the bulk is completed and should be ready for release by the end of this week. Look forward to it!

Emotions running high!

So far, only two testers have replied, and both claim to have cried whilst playing, as well as tearing up slightly at other moments. One tester made the following comments:

”I absolutely loved it You really nailed the feel of Clannad, I could have easily mistaken it as an official game. I’d like to say that the artwork really helped too, it looks great for Clannad, a very close resemblance. The emotion was really strong too, I ended up tearing up at some parts, and even crying… I finished it last night actually, but it makes a big impact! Thats why I believe you did a great job doing a fan game of Clannad. It seems really tough to do that, but this was beautiful.”
